Enterprise Branding for a Kentucky Leader

Restructuring a Family of Legacy Brands
Results
Laying the Foundation for the Next 75 Years of Getting Georgia Home
In 2023, we linked up with LPX Group, a powerhouse in the civil construction world. Made up of four distinct brands, the company was ready to take its game to the next level, but they needed a unified brand that told the story of their strength without losing what made each subsidiary unique. Our mission was to create an enterprise brand strategy that would unite the group while clarifying the distinct identity and differentiators of each subsidiary.
The result is a unified family of brands that now communicates strength, innovation, and reliability, making it easier to connect with clients, employees, and the industry.

Process
Identifying the Culture that Connects Four Subsidiary Brands
We kicked off our work with a deep dive into LPX Group’s culture, goals, and market positioning. Facilitating extensive discovery conversations and a two-day workshop with over 20 division managers and executives, we gained key insights into each subsidiary brand's offerings and its place within the larger group.
From there, we provided consulting and naming support to establish LPX Group as the holding company. We also crafted a verbal strategy to align the group’s mission, values, and approach, along with a scalable tagline structure for future growth.

Identity
Building a Visual Identity That Works for Everyone
With our strategy in hand, we focused on the visual elements. The goal was to evolve each brand’s identity while maintaining market recognition. We gave each subsidiary a refreshed visual identity, with distinct color palettes, complementary logo styles, and a unified type system — all tied together with LPX Group’s endorsement.

Media & Websites
Telling the Full Story Online
To bring the new brand to life, we produced an overview video that showcased the collective strength of LPX Group and celebrated the people behind the brands. We also developed individual websites for Louisville Paving and Construction, Pace Contracting, and Bluegrass Testing.
Each site was designed with the user experience in mind, offering immersive designs that highlight the unique services of each subsidiary while maintaining a cohesive brand presence.

Brand Guidelines
Consistency and Recognizability Across Four Subsidiary Brands
To ensure consistency across all materials, we created a comprehensive set of brand guidelines for LPX Group’s internal marketing team. These guidelines included visual identity standards, logo usage, brand messaging, and practical examples of how to apply the brand in different contexts.

Enterprise Branding for the Future
The rebranding of LPX Group resulted in a cohesive identity that strengthens their position in the market and prepares them for future growth. With their newly refined brand system and individual websites, LPX Group is better equipped to connect with clients, attract talent, and maintain their leadership in the civil construction industry.
